How can IT systems make bus travel more efficient to use and more attractive to the passenger? The EU-project EBSF2 has been launched to answer this question. The project is now ready to leave the laboratory and embark on field trials. Transport for London's bus operators will be the first to take part in a field trial, and Hogia is supplying the platform that integrates the individual systems.

When Logent acquired the shipping company CLdN as a new RO-RO customer, a new type of IT support was needed to ensure the efficient and secure handling of import and export goods within the terminal at the Port of Gothenburg. Logent already had experience of using Hogia systems in other terminals, so it was an obvious choice to deploy a solution from Hogia for this new operation as well.

2015 was another strong year for Swedish IT company Hogia. For the seventh consecutive year, the company's workforce expanded by 25 employees. The company had positive profits for the 25th consecutive year. Profit after net financial items was SEK 19 (23.5) million. This is in line with Hogia's ambition to make profits equalling 4 percent of sales.

Customer satisfaction is an important benchmark for measuring how well the public transport system is running. With the aim of increasing its passengers’ satisfaction, Keolis decided to invest in providing traffic disruption information and installed a system, which provides passenger information in real time. The customer satisfaction rating rose to 84 percent.

Hogia was founded in 1980 and became Microsoft's first partner in Europe. 35 years later, Hogia has nearly 600 employees and a turnover of SEK 500 million. Lars Tingström from Hogia spoke at the logistics and transport fair 2015 about the trends and challenges he faces in his work. He expects to see an increased concentration of goods in transport corridors in the Ten-T network in the future. According to Svensk Kollektivtrafik, the Swedish industry association for public transport, only one in four passengers feel they get enough transport information. Hogia has signed a new contract with ShoreLink covering the introduction of Hogia’s TOS system at ShoreLink’s Haraholmen container terminal in Piteå.
