Hogia wins business in Tunisia

Hogia Ferry Systems has signed an agreement with the Tunisian ferry operator Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation (CTN) to deliver the reservation and ticketing system BOOKIT. CTN operates a cruise-like passenger and vehicle ferry service from Tunis to Genoa, Italy and from Tunis to Marseille, France and has intentions to expand their business further.

The RoRo terminal at the Port of Heysham is the hub for a large part of the freight that travels between north-west England, the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. Port of Heysham awarded to Hogia the contract to supply a terminal operating system to digitalise the management of freight transport through the terminal thereby increasing the terminal’s efficiency.

Eckerö Linjen, operator of ferry services between Sweden and Åland, has signed two new contracts for booking systems. To offer a more flexible and modern booking solution for its travellers, an agreement has been signed with Hogia Ferry Systems for bus and ferry bookings, and with Visit Group for Åland accommodation and tourism services.

Den 1. juni lanserte Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune en ny app som skulle gjøre det enkelt for de reisende å få tilgang til all informasjon som er nødvendig for å reise kollektivt. Reiseplanlegging, billettkjøp, sanntidsinformasjon og avviksinformasjon for busser, hurtigbåter og ferjer i Møre og Romsdal samlet i én og samme app. Appen har slått an på kort tid og er lastet ned 20 000 ganger.

Mats will be in charge of Hogia's initiative aimed at international bus and train operators, in which Hogia plans to invest nearly GBP 1 million over the next two years.

With the aim of increasing its passengers’ satisfaction, Keolis decided to invest in providing traffic disruption information and installed a system, which provides passenger information in real time. The customer satisfaction rating rose to 84 percent.
